The
resort of La Galere is 15 kilometres West of
Cannes
and commands
an impressive 23 hectares of seafront. It is beautifully landscaped with exotic
trees and plants and there are impressive views of the coastline on offer. It is
a purpose built holiday resort with 400 apartments. All the apartments are
unique in terms of size, shape and furnishings but all enjoy sea views and have
a private parking space or garage.
The
resort has plenty on offer to entertain the family and has everything available
within a short walk. There is no need to battle through traffic and people to
get to a private beach. Fresh croissants and bread are available every morning
at the clubhouse. Dinner dances are held each week in the summer club and for a
more formal meal the clubhouse has a superb a la carte menu. For parents wishing
to let there hair down there is a babysitting service on site. With two pools,
private beaches, tennis courts and bars there is no need to travel at all.
La
Galere is only a 20 minutes drive to the centre of
and the
glamorous La Croisette. Nice Airport
is an easy 35
minutes drive and
Antibes
is around a 30
minutes drive. It is therefore an ideal location for sightseeing on the Cote d’Azur. However, for
peace and tranquility the charming medieval villages of the inland Var region
are within a short driving distance. The impressive Gorge du Verdon and glitzy
St.Tropez are popular day trips also.
